In a recent development, an admission scam has been unfoiled as the attention of the authority of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-lwoye has been drawn to an online information instructing candidates to pay a sum of N5000 “before admission commences for further clearance.”
The poorly phrased statement further directed prospective candidates to contact one “Mrs Omosule, M.l, via Facebook “
The University Management has therefore released a statement informing candidates and the general public that the above information is false and it is a way to defraud unsuspecting candidates.
Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU, does not transact its admission on Facebook or through social media. The general public, parents/guardians and most especially, candidates seeking admission into the University are hereby urged to check information update about their admissions only on the University website: https://oouagoiwoye.edu.ng
